Our team has just returned from Japan, where they were shooting the final episodes of season 2 of the television series BEYOND IPANEMA. Director Guto Barra and Musical Director/Producer Béco Dranoff captured amazing moments with names like Maki Nomiya, Cornelius, Mio Matsuda (photo), Qantas Murata and Samba Machines, Novos Naniwanos, Yoshimi Katayama, As Pitanguinhas, Forró Legal and others. Previously, the crew interviewed names like Pierre Barouh, Nouvelle Vague and Camille in Paris, Antonio Zambujo and Carminho in Lisbon and Great Panittieri in Rome. Gaby Gringa is now shooting in Europe. Following the singer during her concerts for The Barbican, in England, the crew goes to Bristol and London to register the amazing concerts by the singer. The episode features musical encounters between Gaby and acclaimed Brazilian singer Lucas Santtana, as well as the musical group Graveola. Gaby gives an incredible performance at London’s Village Underground and turn England upside down!
Gaby is having a great time shooting the series "Gaby Gringa" in several locations in NYC! In unique musical duets, Gaby sang with world famous Brazilian star Seu Jorge in an East Village studio, and also with renowned singer Maria Gadu in Brooklyn. Gaby also sang with names such as Samba legend Pretinho da Serrinha, rapper Emicida, singer Tulipa Ruiz and the American groups Superhuman Happinnes and The Heathens.

being show as part of the official programming of the exhibition "Keith Haring - The Political Line", at
the Musée D'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and Le Centquatre, in Paris. LE CENTQUATRE takes the retrospective further, presenting a selection of Keith Haring's monumental works, notably one of his most important series: The Ten Commandments, dating from 1985. Massive in scale – ten panels, each seven meters high – the works reveal the artist's radical interpretation of the Decalogue.
TRIA Productions/Producing Partners new feature documentary “TIME” is currently in production in New York City. Our crew has just completed a shoot with 90-year old Brazilian legend Bibi Ferreira and Liza Minneli, during Ferreira’s first international concert at Avery Fisher Hall/Lincoln Center. With sequences already filmed in Rio de Janeiro and New York City, the documentary investigates the passage of time in the life of artists around the world. Next stop: Paris! "TIME" will premiere in 2015.
Producing Partners, along with Dogs Can Fly Productions, Blue Man Group Brazil and TIM Wireless, shoots a reality competition that follows the search for the first Brazilian version of the Blue Man Group. Our crews captured the eight-week workshop with five Brazilian actors chosen from thousands of hopeful contestants to come to New York City. The multi-episode series was part of one of Brazil's top television shows, “Caldeirao do Huck”, on Globo Network. April 2013.
The new series "Beyond Ipanema" is getting a lot of attention in the Brazilian press, with great articles in the country's main newspapers: "Folha de S.Paulo", "O Estado de S.Paulo" and "O Globo". The 13 episode series covers the world's love affair with Brazilian music, from the "golden age" of Bossa Nova to the present. Producing Partners and Midgal Filmes shoots the opening episode of the successful series 220 V (Globosat/Multishow Network). Starring superstar comedian Paulo Gustavo, the series is currently in its sixth season. The episode features elaborate skits filmed at a variety of New York City locations, such as the Madam Tussauds Museum, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center's Top of the Rock.
The crew of "Mundo em Movimento" is wrapping up production in Asia with shoots in four cities in India and two cities in Japan. Covering a variety of dance styles, the episodes will show iconic locations of the two countries. Next up are two episodes in Hawaii, with photographer Paula Lobo going to Ohau and Big Island to explore hula, Tahitian and Samoan dances. Beyond Ipanema, the new series by Producing Partners affiliate Planet Pop, will premiere on Brazilian television on Sunday, January, 13th, at 9:30 PM on Canal Brasil. Based on the award-winning documentary of the same name, the 13 episode series features names like David Byrne, M.I.A., Devendra Banhart, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and many others. The first episode explores the overall allure of Brazilian music outside of Brazil. In the following weeks, the program explores the role of DJs and remixers in promoting Brazilian music in the US and the current revival of Tropicalia by international artists. After 13 weeks of a lot of suspense and drama, the first season of "Dançando Na Broadway" (Broadway Dreams) has come to an end. Livia Dabarian was crowned the winner of the Production Partner's flagship series, defeating the other five competitors. Among several prizes, she won a special episode where she shares the spotlight with Broadway Stars like Karen Ziemba, The Broadway Dolls and Joel Grey. Featuring composers Andrew Lippa and Dana P.
